Ruben Johnson

Community and Partnerships Coordinator

Ruben graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Sociology. While at Saint Joseph’s, Ruben worked in the Faith Justice Institute as a Placement Liaison, building relationships with Community Partner Organizations in Philadelphia as part of his commitment to the service-learning program. Through this experience, he became an advocate of social justice and developed a deep understanding of the intersectionality between social problems and education.

During his undergraduate studies, Ruben interned with nonprofit organizations like the Uncommon Individual Foundation where he assisted with the development of college and career readiness curriculum and helped lead education-based workshops in schools in Chester County. Most recently, Ruben worked in higher education assessment, helping onboard, success plan, and manage over 20 partner organizations of the technology company, AEFIS.

Ruben enjoys exercising, watching films, eating new foods, and traveling with family and friends. He currently lives in Ambler, PA with his family and dog, Nate.
