Director of Community and Partnerships
Adriana’s interest in education began at Penn when she tutored elementary students in West Philadelphia on a biweekly basis for four years. After graduating with a BA in communications and marketing, Adriana joined Teach for America. While in the corps, she taught third grade and received her Masters in Education from the University of Hawaii. Adriana’s teaching experience includes five years at public and Title I schools in Hawaii and New York. She has gained intimate knowledge of the Common Core standards and the challenges that face our schools not only through teaching but curriculum development as well. Adriana focuses her efforts on growing and energizing the network.
